GENERAL INFORMATION
Lily of the Valley ship worldwide. On all orders that are sent within the EU 25% VAT is added, and this applies to the cost of the ordered products and additional costs like shipping and insurance fees. This does not apply to non EU residents! Therefore, there is a button in the right corner that switches to show all prices without VAT. The price will automatically change when you give us the destination of your order at the checkout.
Please note that on orders outside the EU, customs and tax fees may occur. Contact you local customs authorities for more information.
The following are the current EU member states: Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark (not the Faeroe islands or Greenland), Estonia, Finland (not Aaland), France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Malta, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (not the Canary islands), Great Britain, the Czech republic, Germany, Hungaria, Austria.
We pay Swedish F-tax and are registered as Firma Karin Öst.
The only available methods of payment are those listed below. Lily of the Valley can not be held responsible for cash, stamps, checks, or other similar means of payment sent though the mail.
If you want a receipt/invoice for you order, you can find that if you log in on "My Account".
All images and the design of the website are the property of Firma Karin Öst. However, please feel free to use any of the photographs on display on the website, as long as the source is accounted for (note that this applies only to the photographs and not the illustrations).


SHIPPING
After your payment has been registered it generally takes 2-3 business days for your order to be sent, and after that usually 1-2 days for the parcel to reach you if sent within Sweden, and about 3-8 days if you live in the rest of the world, the time depending on what country you live in.
All shipments are sent with the Swedish Mail. Orders below 2 kg (2000 grams) are sent as letters to keep costs down. However, this does not automatically include insurance of the shipment. If the customer desires insured shipping this can be chosen on the first checkout page when placing an order.
Orders above 2 kg (2000 grams) are sent as parcels and are automatically insured.
Patterns are sent in plastic folders. All merchandise is sent either in envelopes or in cardboard boxes. Sometimes I reuse fresh boxes from my parents work places. Please reuse or recycle them!


PAYMENT
You can choose between the following payment methods:
Swedish Bankgiro payment
This option is only available to Swedish residents. Payment is made in advance to Lily of the Valley´s bankgiro account. It usually takes 2-3 days for payment to be registered. It is important that you supply us with your order or invoice number in the message field when making the payment, otherwise it is difficult to see which order is payed for. If payment is not registered within 10 days after the order has been placed the order is canceled.
Paypal
Payment in advance to our Paypal account. When you choose Paypal as payment method you are automatically taken to the Paypal website, where you can make a credit card payment quickly and securely. The payment is registered immediately. It is also possible to transfer funds from you bank account to your paypal account.


RETURNS
In accordance with Swedish law you can return your order 14 days after arrival. If the individual product is in any kind of packaging this has to be unopened. When returning products according to this paragraph the full product price is refunded, but the customer pays all shipping costs. Note that this does not apply to underwear or beachwear.


DAMAGED ARTICLES
Every article is controlled before it is sent. If anything is damaged upon arrival, and it is obvious it did not occur in the shipping process, or if you receive other goods than what you ordered, Lily of the Valley will of course replace the product(s) without charge. If this is not possible, for example if it concerns a unique piece of clothing, the item and associated costs will instead be refunded. However, it is important that you correctly report damages. Visible damages should be reported immediately upon receiving the parcel. Hidden damages should be reported withing 3 days after receiving the products.
All vintage clothes is described as good as possible, so please read the product descriptions before ordering! Clothes that are up to 40-50 years old can not always be in perfect condition, and damage returns are not accepted if the products are correctly described in the product description.
Always email to info(at)lilyofthevalley.se before you return anything as damaged.
Please note that customs or tax fees, payed by the buyer upon recieving the order, will not be refunded.


PRIVACY
According to Swedish law we must ask you to agree to that we store your personal data. Lily of the Valley is responsible for all data from our customers that we take part of. Such information will be used solely for the purpose to fulfill our commitments to you as a customer.
Lily of the Valley will never put your personal data at the disposal of a third party for advertising purposes.
You have the right to, on demand, take part of any of your personal information stored in our database. If those should be incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant you have the right to demand correction or deletion of those data.
If you submit pictures to our customer gallery, you accept and agree to that those pictures may be posted on our customer gallery page.
When placing an order the customer IP-address and Internat Service Provider (ISP) are registered. This is done to prevent fraud and sabotage.


ABUSE
Any attempts on fraud or sabotage will be reported to the concerned authorities. Lily of the Valley has the right to cancel an order if such abuse is suspected. We store IP-numbers.


CANCELLING AN ORDER
Your order can be cancelled free of charge as long as it has not been dispatched. If it has been dispatched you have to use your return right.
