Do you have a broken 40s girdle at home? After 50-60 years of faithful service girdles and the like can break or lose their stretch, and will need replacement. I've had to do it myself a couple of times and it's very easy!
I've gotten some spare parts, unused and like new. These two that are white and in metal, with no elastic ribbon, are sold as a pair.
